It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis R. Hollifield of Hazard, Kentucky, born in Ary, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ary Hollifield and Nellie Herald Hollifield; and his siblings, Hershel Hollifield, Sam Hollifield, Rosa Tucker, Geneva Hurley and Christine Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hollifield; his children, Tenisha Combs (CB), Ary Ryan Hollifield and Easter Michelle Miller; and his granddaughter Taelyn Combs.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
