It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colin Cox of Hazard, Kentucky, born in Fleming Neon, Kentucky, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Colin Cox to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Cox and Lula Mae Cox; his brothers, Carl, Tug and Hoppy Cox; and his in-law Pauline Teague.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Cox; his daughter Polly Anna Cox of Lexington, KY; and his siblings, Johnny and Barbara Nunley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hazard High School athletics or the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.
