He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Smith and Dorothy Hess Smith. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Newton Smith; his sons, Steve Smith (Laura) and Brian Smith; his grandchildren, Marissa Heitzman (Sam), Colten Smith (Aubrey), Justin Smith, Jacob Smith (Kelsey) and Colby Smith; and his brothers, Greg Smith (Debbie) and Billy Smith (Kathy).
