He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Tyler and Marvadeen Holland Tyler; his wife Doris Jane Tyler; and his brother-in-law William Poynter. He is survived by: his children, Gwen Simpson (Sean) and Brad Tyler (Kelly); his grandchildren, Megan Beeler (Richard), Drew Tyler (Desiree), Zach Maysey (Taylor Camp), Andrea Young (R. J.) and Noah Simpson (Mary Shannon); his great grandchildren, Kensley Beeler, Kendall Tyler, Alison Tyler, Madison Tyler, Charley Kate Beeler and Asher Tyler; and his sisters, Elizabeth Ann Poynter, Maxine Young (William) and Sherry Bolin (Ron).
