She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl and Flo Ella Gray; and her sister Joy Kay Voyles. She is survived by: her husband Homer L. Newman; her children, Laraine Epley (Greg) and Norman Newman (Sharon); her grandchildren, Sydney, Ryan, Riley (Bella Epley) and William Newman (DJ Jurss); her siblings, Janice Petery (Paul), Jean Mattingly (Mike), Anthony Gray (Betty), Edward Gray (Rachel), Joyce Pearcy, Jimmylou Vandgrift (James), Jerrie Durbin (Robert), Curtis Gray and Judith White (Larry); and her sister-in-law Becky (Guy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
