He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Powers and Shannon Lamar Powers; and his sister Ladonna Powers. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Nugent Powers; his children, Ashley Smith (Steven) and Robert Clinton Powers; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Powers, Ashton "Luke" Henderson, Jada Smith and Levi Smith; his siblings, Marla Brown (Steve), Tina Kirk and Scott Powers; and his aunts, Vivian Nall and Louise Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
