It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Cooper of Hawesville, Kentucky, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Alex Taylor Cooper. He is survived by: his parents, David Cooper and Karen Voyles Cooper; his wife Edna Wethington Cooper; his children, James Tyler Cooper (Amber), Arthur Lee Cooper (Kirsten), Emilee Saundra Bernardi (Jeffery), Margaret Ella Cooper (Dakota Kennedy) and Shelby Sue Cooper; his grandchildren, Ollie, Lora, Oaklee, Kenzleigh and Jaxson; his sister Tabitha Edge (John); and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Margaret Wethington. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
