He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jackson and Beatrice Craft Jackson; and his siblings, Ernest D. Jackson, Freddie Jackson, Earl Jackson, Russell Jackson, Billy Jackson, Maxine Goatley and Ailene Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Gray Jackson; his sister Georgia Mae; his sons, Steve Jackson, Johnny Jackson (Sally), Billy Jackson (Natalie) and Russell Jackson (Peyton); and his grandchildren, Lara Hager (Joe), Jake Jackson (Sarah), Courtney Schroader, Jessica Owen (Jeremy), Luke Jackson (Samantha), Vanessa Calloway (Seth), Erica Pulliam (Austin), Jonathan Jackson (Machaela), Cameron Jackson, Jenna Jackson, Julia Jackson, Madelyn Jackson, Mallory Jackson, Samuel Trace Jackson and Chris McKinney (Alexandria).

The family request all donations be made to Patesville Baptist Church in memory of Charlie Jackson.
