He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Boling and Verona Bulter Boling; his wife Dolores Adkins Boling; and his siblings, Norman Boling, Thelma Brown, Maxine Ashworth and Lowena Boling.

He is survived by : his daughter Carla Jan Carpenter (Gary); his grandsons, Brent Carpenter (Michelle) and Grant Carpenter (Kimberly); his sister Arlene Whistle; his siblings-in-law, Mary Boling and Ray Adkins; and his caregivers, Phillip and Stacy Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hawesville Baptist Church (290 Main St, Hawesville, KY 42348). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at the same location.
