He is survived by: his daughter Carla Jan Carpenter (Gary); his grandsons, Brent Carpenter (Michelle) and Grant Carpenter (Kimberly); his sister Arlene Whistle; his siblings-in-law, Mary Boling and Ray Adkins; and his caregivers, Phillip and Stacy Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends.
