She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard C. Lamar and Beulah I. Lamar; her husband James "Tip" Adkins; and her siblings, Iantha Gaynor, Barbara Moore, Rickey Lamar, Ronald, Earl, Gerald and Glenda.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Adkins (Brenda), Rita Hendry (Sandy), Donna Chappell (Allen), Debbie Keown (Tommy), Sherry Pirkle, Jeff Adkins (Melanie), Scott Adkins (Minda) and Jamie Huddy (David); and her siblings, Eloise Powers Edwards and Terry Lamar (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it would have been Aileen's great pleasure to know that donations would be given to the HUMC Building fund in her honor.
