He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Whittaker and Elizabeth Louise Noel Whittaker; and his brother Howard Whittaker. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Miller Whittaker; his daughters, Tammy Richards (Jeff), Beth Hill (Lyndell), CeCe Robinson (Troy) and Genia Carroll (Mark); his grandchildren, Charley (Katie), J. D. (Shelbie), Clare (Michael), Claudia (Zach), Grace (Cody), Matthew, Chloe, Benjamin, Anna, James, Maddie, Nathan and Audra; his great grandchildren, Miles, Macie, Ashby, Lacie, Addy, Jarrett and Tyler; his siblings, Gerald Whittaker (Charlotte) and Bonnie Moseley; and his sister-in-law Ara Whittaker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
