He was predeceased by: his grandmother Linda Mattingly. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" Payne and Cynthia "Cindy" Mattingly Payne of South Dakota; his cousin Nathaniel Floyd of Lawrenceburg; his grandparents, David Joe, Pat Payne of Knottsville, KY and David O. Mattingly of Philpot, KY; his aunts and uncles, Lisa Floyd (Tracy) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Amy Higdon (Travis) of Philpot, KY, Becky McCubbins (Larry) of Owensboro, KY, Julie Jensen (Holger) of Philpot, KY, Michael Payne (Meredith) of Colorado and John Mattingly of Philpot, KY; his cousins, Carolyn Snell (Joshua), Becca, Emily Higdon, Kristen Bumm (Ryan), Morgan Cecil (Dylon), Brandon Mattingly (Chelsea), Brittany Mulligan (Clay) and Ally Mattingly; his close friend Zyn Mechanical; and also Chelsie Payne of Colorado.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
