It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonna Gale Johnson of Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Eversole, Jr. and Lily Nantz Eversole; her husband Michael R. Johnson; her former husband Charles Nugent, Jr.; and her siblings, Rodney Eversole, Christi Jo Eversole, Myra Eversole and Twila Gay Eversole.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Sadie; her daughter Christa Luker (Jacob) of Chandler, Indiana; her grandchildren, Joshuah Jaramillo (Jazmin), Christopher Tindall, Preston Tindall (Lexi), Joseph Tindall and Erica Tipton (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Bryleigh and Lily; and her close friend Mary Potts. She is also survived by grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Barnett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
