He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Watson and Sarah Duke Watson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Myers Watson; his daughter Darla Williams (Robert); his grandchildren, Josie Hall (Kyle) and Zach Williams (Tia Chavella); and his nephews, Mike Stringfield, Don Stringfield and Jerry Watson.
