He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Whittaker and Geraldine Yates Whittaker; his grandson Rusty Whittaker; and his brother Freddie Whittaker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Evans Whittaker; his children, Jeff Whittaker (Alicia), Angie Stumpf (Kurt) and Sherry Magan (Robbie); and his grandchildren, Brandon Miles (Sarah), Nina Belcher (Brian), Whitney Maddox (Aaron), Janna Boyd (Jon), Jesika Whittaker (John), Adam Magan (Johnna) and Andrew Magan (Arin). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
The Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Barnetts Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
