He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Bishop Peters; and his siblings, Florence, Dortha Nell Peters, Martha Thompson, Clarence, William "Bill" and Alvin Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Peters (Trudy) of Kevil, Randy Peters (Cathy) of Henderson, Royce Peters (Heather) of Las Vegas, Ramona Lindsey (Charles) of Tulsa and Rometta "Elaine" Addington (Alton) of Hartford; and his sisters, Ruth Utley (Reg) of Utica and Faye Geary of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
