It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Strauss Jr. of Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Strauss; his siblings, Lillian, Stephen, Charlotte, Beverly, Bruce and Dale; his grandchildren, Melissa Phelps and Jason Gillim; and his parents, Henry Strauss and Lillian Strauss.
He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Phelps (Tommy), Sandra Gillim (Wayne), Richard Smith (Lisa), Eric Smith (Ashley), Edward Smith (Melanie) and Matthew Strauss; and his sister Paula Mikulich (Mike). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren with an additional 2 great- grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bevil Bros. Funeral Home (226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
