He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Heckel and Hannah Heckel (Wolf); his former wife Naomi Chapple; his son Charles; and his siblings, Bernard, Bruno, Robert, Bernice and Rosalee.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Kramer; his son David; his granddaughters, Aleshia, Ginny and Hannah; his uncle Albert Wolf; his daughters-in-law, Faye and Billie; and his great grandchild Olivia.
