He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ainsworth Allen and Beulah Kane Maddox; and his brother Charles "Bud" Allen. He is survived by: his wife Delores Mae "Dodie" Allen of Hartford; his children, Beth Wood (Billy) of Hartford and Chris Allen (Katrina) of Berea; his grandchildren, Kendall Brandon (Deric), Sarah Barker (Zach), Joseph Russell Allen, Sierra Allen and Hannah Allen; his great grandchildren, Kwyn, Ellie, Oliver Brandon and Calum Vincent; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Allen of McHenry and Mary Porter of Owensboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
