She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Cottrell and Ethel Vance Thomasson; her husband John Ray Campbell; her son Michael Ray Campbell; her brother Wendell Thomasson; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Thomasson, Emma Jean Thomasson and Wallace Haynes; and her daughter-in-law Karol.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos "Gene" Campbell of Monroe, MI, Malcolm Campbell (Marcia) of Hartford, Darlene Chyle (Kenneth) of Hartford, Twila Mitchell (George) of Ft. Worth, TX and Dewayne Campbell (Elsie) of Hartford; her siblings, J. W. Thomasson (Bobbie) of Louisville and Maxine Haynes of Athens, AL; and her close friends, Anna Taylor, Paula Felty and Agnes. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Ohio County, where envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
