He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Katherine Evans; his children, William Evans Meng and Katherine Ellis Meng (Cory Edward Chatham); his grandchildren, Camden Edward Chatham and Ellis Campbell Chatham; his parents, Charles Henry Meng III and Martha Allen Meng; and his siblings, Charles Henry Meng IV (Dorothy Rouse), Steven Crutcher Meng (Ann Bryant), Kenneth Allen Meng (Mary Catherine Ryan) and Martha Kate Meng Stites.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
