He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Gilley and Maude Taylor Turner Gilley; and his children, Loretta Turner, Van Lee Turner and Randal Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Saundra K. Osborne of Lawrenceburg and Johnny E. Turner (Effie) of Harrodsburg; his sister Louise Isaacs; his grandchildren, Shawn Dale Sizemore, Eric Laine Sizemore, Megan Whitmer, Elizabeth Turner, Ritchie Turner, Johnathan Turner and Ashley Patton; and his pets, Brownie and Lady. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
