He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C Distler and Anna Wackenthaler Distler. He is survived by: his children, Steven (Kathy) of Lexington, Gregory (Dixie) of Huntsville, AL, Carl (Paula) of Huntsville, AL and Teresa Distler Jiulianti of Lexington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - E. Main (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
