He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Bowen and Mary Royalty Bowen; and his siblings, Naamon Bowen, Virginia Valley, Juanita Mitchell and Leck Robinson.
He is survived by: his spouse Vena Driskell Bowen; his children, Ronald Bowen of Willisburg and Ramona Robinson of Harrodsburg; his siblings, Calvin Bowen of Lawrenceburg, Lula Euliano of Lawrenceburg, Norma Royalty of Lawrenceburg and Bernice Thomas of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Jeremy Bowen (Kelly), Lauren Whitenack (Billy) and Lee Robinson; and his great grandchild Eddie Lee Bowen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home (304 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
