He was predeceased by: his brother Homer Phillips; and his stepson Michael Wayne Darland. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Wiley (Combs); his sons, Ronald Wiley (Linda) of Loveland, OH, Mark Wiley and Gary Wiley of Danville, KY; his stepdaughter Dana Herring (Marshel) of Harrodsburg; his sister Shirley Johnson of Danville, KY; his grandchildren, Carloyn, Catherine, Michael and Daniel; his stepgrandchildren, Mark, Matthew and Michelle; his great grandchild Riley; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Macy, Sydney, Natalie, Max and Matthew; and his nephew Eddie Johnson. He is also survived by several great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel (345 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion (529 N Greenville St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Springhill Cemetery (529 N Greenville St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330).
