It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Abello Launcho of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse José Luis Lancho; her son Jorge Lancho; her parents, Oscar Gregorio Abello and María Luisa Abello (Vasseur); and her siblings, Oscar Abello, Carlos Abello, América Lucía Ruiz, María Luisa Lázaga, Gustavo Abello and Eugenio Abello.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Susan Lancho; her sister-in-law Dinorah Abello; and her grandsons, Jonathan Van Balen, Evan Lancho and Joseph Lancho. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
