With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marta Pelfrey of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Dr. Ronald Pelfrey and Heaven; her parents, Wolde Gedebu and Belaynish Adera; and her brother Mesfin Wolde-Rufael.
She is survived by: her sons, Mikael Brion Pelfrey (Sagan) of Lexington, KY and Eric Alan Pelfrey (Shelby) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Linden, Nylah, Charleston, Crewe and Wells Pelfrey; and her siblings, Almaz, Solomon, Abby, Alem, Sophia and Girum.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen organization.
