She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Buchanan and Louella Mae Buchanan (Trisler); and her siblings, George Weber Buchanan (Sue), Nancy Baker (Harvey) and William Irvin Buchanan.
She is survived by: her husband McKinley Anness Jr. of Harrodsburg; her daughters, Diane Anness Summersett (John) and Nancy Anness; her sister Janet Buchanan Thacker (Jerry); her grandsons, Joshua Horne (Jarah) and Grayson Anness; her great grandchildren, Kiley Small, Oakley Horne and Remington Rose Horne; and her close friend Margo Lopez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel (345 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion (529 N Greenville St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330).
