She was predeceased by: her husband Howard G. Smith, Sr.; her parents, John Burchett and Jannie Belle Cinnamon Dalton; her son H. G. Smith, Jr.; and her sisters, Ann McDuffey, Dorothy Whalen and Lila Dalton.
She is survived by: her children, David D. Smith (Debbie) of Burgin, Sue Dobbs of Stanford and Sheila Baxter (Gary) of Rogersville, TN; and her grandchildren, Eric Stine, Tim Stine, Chris Smith, Jonathan Smith, Anita Leonard, Brian Baxter, Amanda Baxter and Darrin Smith. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
