He was predeceased by: his parents, Domer Patterson and Vivian Statham Patterson; and his sister Louise Burke. He is survived by: his wife Christine Kidd Patterson; his children, Jennifer Arnold Fultz (Kris), Amber Patterson, Chris Patterson and Zackary Shewmaker (Stacy); and his siblings, Lorrie Collier (Todd), Linda Rogers (Greg), Lorne Patterson (Betty) and Leroy Patterson (Diane). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
