It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Matherly of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, born in Milford, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas and Mary Hannah Matherly (Smith); and his siblings, Anna Ruth Keeling, James D. "Jimmy" Matherly and Bobby Matherly.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rose Logue Matherly; his children, Paula Michelle Kinzer (Paul) of Georgetown, KY and Isaac Matherly (Amanda) of Harrodsburg, KY; his brother Donald E. Matherly (Linda); his grandsons, Deacon Matherly, Lucas and Landon Kinzer; his nieces, Savannah Wiley of Whitney Martin, B. J, Sullivan, Morgan Logue, Jessye Davis, Jenacy Davis, Carrie Wiley, Bobbie Lou Morris, Ellie Vandivier, Jo Hanna Lewis, Jamie Byrd, Belinda Robinson and Robin Logue; and his caregiver Chelsey Moore.
