The memory of Howard Hinden Howells of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Malcolm and Caroline Hinden Howells; and his brother David Howells. He is survived by: his son Howard Howells, II (Kathy) of Harrodsburg; and his grandchildren, Ann Howells of Harrodsburg, Ruth Smith (Sherrill) of Frankfort, Grant Smith of Frankfort, Morgan Wolf (Jacob) of Louisville, Sophia Smith of Lewisville, TX, Kay Howells of Bowling Green, Thomas Howells of Harrodsburg and Parker Smith (Ashley) of Louisville. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and two nieces and a nephew, and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church (326 S Main St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Springhill Cemetery Pavilion (529 N Greenville St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330).
