He was predeceased by: his parents, Minn Gritton and Stattie Gritton (Robinson); and his brother Thurman Gritton. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Gritton (Thompson); his son Jerry Gritton (Sharon); his stepsons, Bobby Riley (Robin) and Garry Riley (Michelle); his grandchildren, Todd Gritton, Scarla Hahn (Dwayne), Susetta Green (Sean), Anna Robinson (Bill), Peggy Combs (Phillip), Selina Bowman, Brittany Embry (Brad), Clinton Riley (Danielle), Matthew Riley (Rachel) and Leah Sharpe (Brian); and his niece Freida Moore (Jim). He is also survived by Several Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren.
