With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Freda Imogene Morton of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, born in Pulaski, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Rochelle Dooley and Jack Wardy Dooley of Lawrenceburg, TN.; her grandparents, Granville and Ada Rochelle; her husband Alvin T. Morton, Jr.; her son James Anthony Morton; her granddaughter Whitney Morton Sachs; her great grandchild William "Bill Bill" Cooper; and her siblings, Kenneth Adams, Hank Dooley and Gail Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughter Gayla Morton Murphy (Terry); her grandson Bryan A. Dalton (Heather); her great grandchild Jack A. Dalton; her siblings, Mike Dooley (Margaret Ann) and Deborah Crews (Murrell); her grandchildren, Jonathan Murphy (Nicole) and Rachael Brown (Josh); her great grandchildren, Brittany Groves (David), Macey Dannielle Smith (Conner), Jillian, Carson Murphy, Jacob and Elyse Brown; her great great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Levi Groves and Stone Smith; and her daughter-in-law Jean Dixon Morton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the North View Baptist Church (1742 Bryan Station Rd, Lexington, KY 40505). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
