She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ann Oakes, and Raymon Oakes, Sr.; her brother Ray Oakes, Jr. (Ann); her husband Jim; her children, Heather (Scott) and Keith (Melanie); and her great grandchildren, Kevin, Emily, Maddie, Aaron, Allison, Lydia, Carrington, Nicholas Jonathan, Olivia, Ellie and Azariah.
