He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray and Sylvia Elizabeth Butler Sr. (Forsyth); and his brothers-in-law, Buddy Reecher and Steve Holland. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Butler (Reecher) of Harrodsburg, KY; his children, Connie Wheeler Sr. (Johnny) and Kevin Butler (Teresa); his sister Tammy Schumacher; and his grandchildren, Sylvia Wheeler, Samantha Hacker (Dillon), Johnny Paul Wheeler Jr. (Kelsey), Stephanie Wheeler, Kaitlyn Butler (Tyler), Nathan Butler (Shay), Trevor Butler, Morgan Hicks (Schyer) and Madison Junkin (Tyler). He is also survived by ten Great Grandchildren.
