He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver and Cynthia Binns Baxter. He is survived by: his spouse Lavenia Ison; his daughters, Bethany Nicole Baxter (Willie Davis) of Lexington, Kentucky, Natalie Michelle Baxter (Joshua Simpson) of Wassaic and Jennifer Baxter Averbeck (Cody) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Eliot, Franklin, Geneva, Petra, Gordon, Rowan and Willa; his sister Prudence Hoppin (Thomas); his nephew Christopher Ginter (Beth); and his niece Hilary Ginter (Greg Jilek).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, where Tony was a longtime member, and God's Pantry Food Bank where he volunteered for many years.
