He was predeceased by: his son David Kimble Rippy; and his stepfather Porter Denton Hood. He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Darlene Scott (Rick) and Dr. Dana Wayne Boden (Craig); his daughter-in-law Teresa Rippy of Bowling Green, KY; his sister Frieda Towe of Scottsville, KY; and his grandchildren, William Rippy (Stephanie), Jennifer Belcher (Jeremy), Thomas Rippy (Stephanie), Eric Scott (Jennifer), Julie Scott, Dathan Boden (Megan) and Clayton Boden (Myra). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; Nieces, nephews and cousins.
