She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Akers and Ida Rogers Akers; her husband Harold James Bautista; her son Ricky Joe Sturgill; and her brothers, Leslie Akers and Gene Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Sturgill of Hager Hill, Kentucky, Sharon Smith of Garrett and Karen Waugh of Hueysville, Kentucky; her brother Stevie Akers of Harold, Kentucky; and her grandchild Along.
Due to Covid the family has requested visitation and funeral for family and close friends only.
