He is survived by: his children, Sherry Dicus (Matt) and Brian Akers; his stepchildren, Lisa Tackett (Donnie) and Ted Noe (Sharman); his grandchildren, Meagan Karnes (Chris), Jordan Rasmussen and Cory Tackett; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Cameron and Reagan Karnes; and his brother Sammy Akers (Liz). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
