He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Dollie J. Stevens Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lewis Adkins; his children, Lori A. Adkins (Stefan Hulliger) of Lexington and Kevin Adkins (Randi Adkins) of Shelbyville; and his sister Lynn Adkins (Olvie) of Wakeman, Ohio.. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
