He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Spencer and Lela Morton Spencer; and his siblings, Retha Doreth Spencer, Laura Annetta Ewen, Wilford Ray Spencer, Kenneth Edsel Spencer, Shadwick Leon Spencer, Ellis Spencer and Nathaniel Spencer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Marie Spencer of Maryville, California and Christina Ann Clifton; and his sister Karon Eloise Ballenger of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
