He is survived by: his wife Betty Bruington of Harned, KY.; his sons, Ronnie Bruington (Pam) of Harned, KY and Tim Bruington (Sandra) of Hardinsburg, KY.; his grandchildren, Adam Voyles (Whitney), Scott Voyles (Eva), Todd Bruington (Jaimie), Tyler Bruington (Kelli), Logan Bruington (Brooke), Kevin Drane (Becky), Travis Drane (Sarah) and Kara Anderson (Philip); and his great grandchildren, Dakota James Bruington, Sophie Voyles, Kennedy, Klara Drane, Sawyer and Asher Drane.
