It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Massengale (Harlan, Kentucky), born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Cremeens Rohrer and Wesley Stoner; her daughter Shirley King; her brother Glen Rohrer; and her brother-in-law Paul Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery Massengale; her daughter Betty Johnson (Keith) of Kildav, KY; her grandsons, Jeffrey Johnson (Madison) of Kildav, KY, J. C. King of Tazewell, TN and Wesley King (Caroline) of Johnson City, TN; her great grandchild Caroline Elizabeth Owens; her sister Janet Fisher of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her nephews, Steven and Chandler Fisher of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and her son-in-law Jess King Jr. of Tazewell, TN.
