We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2020, at the age of 90, Vauda Smith Doolin of Harlan, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, James Michael Smith and Timothy Smith; and her brothers, Clyde Wathal Hickey and Willis Alden Hickey. She is survived by: her former husband James Vallard Smith; her husband Herman; her grandchildren, Amy Smith Devers (Michael Timothy Smith) of Georgetown and Richmond; her daughter-in-law Billie N. Smith; and her great grandchildren, Landon Scott and Laney Shae.

Respecting the executive orders from Governor Andy Beshear's office regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, all services for Vauda Doolin will be private.
