He was predeceased by: his brother Lloyd Luther Southerland (Pug); his brother-in-law Clarence W. Longworth Sr.; and his mother-in-law Geneva Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hopkins Southerland; his sons, Scott Southerland Michael Hopkins (Rebecca) and Cody Hopkins; his grandchildren, Mason, Ayden Smith and Claire Elizabeth Southerland; his sisters, Glenda Garrett (Charlie) of Cranks, Della Fuson (Gary) of Putney, KY and Mandy R Longworth of Loyall, KY; and his close friends, Ron and Christy Bailey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members.
