He was predeceased by: his father Otis Welch; his wife Lorine Robbins Welch; his son Robert C. Welch II; and his siblings, Billy Carl Welch and Jane Welch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Regina McArthur (Harold) and Rebecca Johnston (Edward); and his brother Otis Michael Welch (Belinda). He is also survived by Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
