With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Kathleen Stacey of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Kathleen Stacey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Burgess and Lilly Tabor Burgess; her husband Harry "Sonny" Stacey; and her son Rodney Stacey. She is survived by: her son Randy Stacey; her grandchildren, Miranda Howard (Zachary), Ashleigh Stacey (Jada), Jason Stacey, Scott Stacey and Laura Tuttle (Will); her great grandchild Allysa Stacey; her siblings, John Burgess and Mary Lou; her daughter-in-law Sue Byrd; and her close friends, Monica Howard and Sheila Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kat's honor can be made to activities within the Harlan Independent School District or the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice center.
