She was predeceased by : her father Michael Short; her grandparents, Ronnie Short, Peggy Short and Geraldine Witt; and her great-grandparents, Milford Short and Wilma Short.

She is survived by : her pet Josie; her sister Chyna Caudill; her mother Nancy Short; her uncle Mitchell Short; her close friend Wilma "Sissy" Short; her nieces, Alyssa Coker and Elizabeth Coker; her nephew Jack Coker; and her cousin Tori Peace (Crissy Johnson). She is also survived by mom to her, as well as a host of extended family and close, special friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 at the Evarts Memorial Gardens.
