It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Irene Burkhart (Harlan, Kentucky), who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Saylor and Marie Saylor (Payne); her husband John Burkhart; and her brothers, James Saylor, Emory Saylor and Paul Saylor.
She is survived by: her children, Kristie Boggs (Wesley) of Baxter, KY and Jonathan Burkhart of Baxter, KY; her grandchildren, Bethany Boggs of Middlesboro, KY and Jeff Boggs of Baxter, KY; and her siblings, Johnny Payne of Olive Branch, MS, Janice Daniels of Cold Spring, KY, William "Moe" Saylor (Sharon) of Coldiron, KY and Fred Saylor (Glenda) of West Chester, OH. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
